Piqbo ("we", "us") operates piqbo.com and the Piqbo Chrome extension (when available). This policy explains what we collect and why.

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and, if you opt in, permission to send product updates. We may also store how you found us (e.g. referral link or campaign tag). We use this to send early-access news and measure interest. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Piqbo Chrome extension data

The Piqbo Chrome extension may store information that you intentionally create or save through Piqbo, including: notes; tasks and task status; focus-timer state; text you select on a page and explicitly choose to save; content you pin to a page; and extension preferences, settings, and onboarding state. This information is used only to provide Piqbo's features.

Local storage. Piqbo stores this extension data locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage. Piqbo does not transmit the contents of your notes, tasks, saved text, pinned items, or the webpages you visit to Piqbo servers or any third party. Piqbo does not sell this data or use it for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the extension's features.

Website access. Piqbo is designed to be available from the edge of the page while you browse, so the extension needs access to the pages you visit in order to show its interface without making you leave or reload your tab. This access is also what lets you save selected text. Piqbo does not use it to build a history or profile of the sites you visit.

Data deletion. Because this content is stored locally, you can remove it through the extension's own controls, or by removing the extension and clearing its stored data in Chrome.

Remote code. The Piqbo Chrome extension does not download or run remotely hosted code. All of its executable code ships inside the installed extension.

Changes to the extension. If a future version of Piqbo changes how extension data is collected, stored, transmitted, or synced (for example, adding an account or cloud sync), this policy will be updated to describe that before the new behavior takes effect.

Analytics & cookies

With your consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand traffic to piqbo.com. We use essential cookies to remember your cookie preference. You can choose "Essential only" on the cookie banner to decline analytics.

Third parties

We use service providers to host the site (Cloudflare), send waitlist emails (Resend), and measure site usage (Cloudflare Analytics, if enabled). They process data only to provide those services.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Email hello@piqbo.com and we'll help.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
